I was honoured to be invited to collaborate with the Indonesian collective Ruangrupa on a large scale installation for the APT7 in Brisbane. The install was presented as a mini-museum dedicated to the Kuda, a fictional 70′s proto-punk band from Indonesia that influenced Brisbane’s music scene in unexpected ways. The work is an exploration into the social, economic and political factors that drive counter-culture movements.
